- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Bill Burner, owner of the Fish Guys, loves his fish! He started his career in the pet industry as a teenager working in a local pet store, before opening several of his own locations. After twenty years in retail, three children, multiple dogs, cats, and fish tanks later, it was decided to shift focus and specialize in aquariums.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with customers ranging from those who have a 10 gallon freshwater beta or goldfish tank all the way up to 1000+ gallon reefs with every fish and coral under the sun!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We would recommend you hire a team with at least 2 or 3 technicians so you always have someone who you can rely on to show up on time or for emergencies and so you know the business is well established. Always make sure whomever you hire is fully insured and safety conscience. The last thing you want is a technician who doesn't make an effort to make your aquarium hazard free, and causes or allows accidental fire or flood damage that they can't afford to cover. Don't take that risk!
