FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are no additional fees other than the price quoted. Typically I charge $350/hour but might quote lower or higher depending on location and specifics of the shoot. When I deliver photos, they are yours to do with what you wish. You will receive a web gallery with images available to download high-resolution. You can make prints through the web service or download them and print on your own.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to communicate either by email or phone about what you are looking for. Inspiration photos or Pinterest pages that you might be able to share are always helpful. Then we will arrange a time and place and start shooting! I always find that it takes a few minutes to warm up and get comfortable, after which we should have a lot of fun. I like to see what happens naturally at first, but then give more direction as the shoot goes on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops and as an assistant to some of New York's top editorial, fashion, and fine-art photographers. I have photographed fashion, family portraits, celebrity events, weddings, and news stories. I've also traveled around the world photographing international development projects. So, I have a vast amount of experience and love to adapt my skills to the client's particular project.
