FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we first meet I will ask you to tell me a bit about yourself and your music interests. Then, we will check how well you can hear and match pitch. After that, we will work on warmups to check your range and determine your voice type.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music in classical vocal performance from Manhattan School of Music. I have been singing for the past 14 years and have studied musical theater, opera, choral/sacred music, and some jazz. I have been in professional opera productions with the Delaware Valley Opera company and I was the Second Place winner of the New York Lyric Opera Theatre’s National Opera Competition. I have been hired to sing professional concerts in New Jersey and have sang with the New York Philharmonic. I have worked with NYU Tisch students to create musical theater outreach shows, such as The Wizard of Oz, for children in New York. Currently, I have a private voice studio consisting of singers of all ages.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with people of all ages from ages 7 and over. Age doesn't matter; if you want to learn to sing, you always can!
