- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on a combination of interior square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with is new customer is helping them access their needs; do they need to have a property scan for any possible oil tanks, do they need to have a septic system inspected, etc. I recommend that these items be addressed BEFORE the home inspection begins to avoid a possible major obstacle / issue.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Twenty hours of continuing education per year are required to maintain your home inspection license in N.J. This is about equal to one semester at most colleges. I am currently serving as the education director for the Garden State ASHI chapter of home inspectors.
