Updated 4/11/2023: After receiving written confirmation from Talha in text message (see photos) and via the dispute resolution team through Thumbtack, no further action has been taken to remediate the issues and he has now indicated he considers the job complete because he was paid. You can clearly see the quality of his work in the picture in this review. The touch ups to what were supposed to be freshly painted walls look terrible and there is a large paint drip on the wall. Another matter I left off my original review was the molding installed on top of the stairs came off within two days of being installed. For some reason Talha thought a molding overhanging stairs that would be directly walked on could be secured with just glue. He did come back and nail it in when I messaged him about it (see photos). Original Review I will start with positives. Friendly and prompt with competitive pricing. They were able to start right away and worked to get the job done. That said, job quality was not to expectations. We had them paint our bedrooms and lay new flooring luxury vinyl flooring. The flooring is gapped in places either from poor installation or subfloor issues. We had just purchased the home and there was thick carpeting/padding that we had removed so subfloor issues were not as apparent. No mention was made of these issues and they plowed ahead with the work. I believe a professional would have called out these issues at minimum or suggested we had the subfloor looked at. Communication as a whole was completely lacking unless we pursued it. The painting was done fairly well with the exception of the hall. You can see from the pictures how apparent all the touch ups are after they finished the flooring. You will also notice the paint drop left behind. I asked them to come back to address it and they say they were on vacation after I followed up. I did not hear back from them. In addition to the poor quality of work, all garbage was left behind, which was fine as this was never discussed. However, items containing wet paint were just left in open bags, ultimately leading to me getting paint on my coated garage floor, driveway, and clothes when I went to dispose of it. Paint stains were also left on the driveway in the area where their vehicle was parked. It is also worth noting that they were confident enough in the quality of the work to request a review. My understating is that this must be done by the service provider as other services I booked through here did not send such a request.
