Our weddingcake was incredibly beautiful, and almost exactly as the design picture we submitted. We're VERY pleased with how it came out. We went to a lot of cake tastings but still weren't satisfied, so we made the wise decision to go with Joanna.
Our 2 tier cake was delivered on time in perfect condition and it tasted great, us and our guests loved it. We had red velvet as our top tier and vanilla cake with Bavarian cream as the bottom tier. We wish we'd ordered a bigger cake so that we could've had more leftovers.
We're considering ordering another cake from Joanna for our anniversary. Loved the cupcakes as well. Definitely go with Joanna!!!
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each cake design may differ in price. This all depends on the artistry and design of cake. I start my buttercream cakes at $3.00 per serving and Fondant at $4.00per serving.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer contacts me I need to know the basics first. How many people are you trying to serve? What design do you want? Any filling? Etc, be prepared to spend at least 5-10 minutes on the phone answering base questions to complete your order.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Actually, I'm self taught. However I alway like to keep up with new techniques so I am able to create a piece of art for my clients
