Career change? Life transition? Not feeling all of the happiness you believe you could be experiencing? Looking to become more optimistic, hopeful and focused?
I can help you with that.
My name is Marlena and I am a life coach, motivational speaker, professor and former counselor. My extensive training and work in positive psychology (the study of what makes life MOST worth living) and life coaching provides me with a unique skill set to help people become the best version of themselves.
Everyday, you can change. Everyday, you can become better.
By working with me, you will clarify your goals and feel empowered and EXCITED about life again. You will also uncover your superpowers (natural strengths) and use them to fuel your quest for a meaningful life.
I have worked with all types of people, from political figures to retirees. Whether it is in an individual session or in a crowd of 500+, my clients have enhanced their overall well-being by learning how to rewire their thoughts and behaviors from negative to positive, understand and utilize the power of vulnerability, increase positive emotions, clarify goals and ultimately, flourish. Our work together will get you more focused, resilient, and most importantly, happier.
In a nutshell- we will BOOST you.
Interested in a motivational speaker for your event? I can do that, too 😊. My dynamic, interactive workshops and keynotes have been positively received all over the country. One program that has been highly successful, as both a workshop and keynote is B.O.O.S.T.
B.O.O.S.T. (Be Present. Open to Connection. Optimistic. Strength Focused. Thankful.) is rooted in the science of positive psychology, the study of what makes life worth living. It provides participants with actionable tools to increase happiness, well-being, optimism, resilience and overall life satisfaction.
While attaining my M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University, I had the pleasure of working with the late Dr. Herbert Benson, founder of the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital (formerly known as the Mind-Body Medical Institute at Harvard University). I have also trained at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine with Dr. James Gordon in Washington D.C., where I completed the Professional Training Program in Mind-Body Medicine. Most recently, I received a full sponsorship to complete the ICF-accredited coaching program in executive coaching with Teleos Institute in Philadelphia.
Most of us aren't thriving. In fact, most of us are merely surviving. There is a better way to live. Let’s get started.
