FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We give prices and options before any work is completed. Our pricing is based on the job so you do not have to pay per hour for slow technicians. Quantity, senior citizen, military, and safety plan discounts are available as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a real person answer the phone and schedule our skilled technician to your house. The technician will then call and let you know when they are about an hour away. You will also receive a text and email with a picture of the technician, a brief description of their experience, and a tracking link to see them as they drive to your home. Upon arrival to your home, they will be respectful, clean, and professional. They will wear shoe covers inside your home and provide you with expert advice and knowledge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All employees have a minimum of a GED and attend electrical school or have graduated an approved apprenticeship program. Lightning also provides in house training on a weekly basis.
