First Rate 1 Construction definitely lived up to their name. I called for an estimate and they arrived promptly and punctually the next day. Tony was responsive to my inquiries and was friendly and quickly assuaged my concerns about the job. He treated us like family and as if we were old friends. The estimate was fair and accurate as he had correctly assessed the work of replacing the existing roof, plywood ,fascia, and gutters as well providing an exact estimate that was the same at the end of the job as the beginning. They worked quickly, efficiently and cleanly. Jimmy and Renee were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and skillful and were responsive to my questions and concerns. Tony headed a large and experienced crew that worked quickly and carefully. I was amazed at how fast the job was completed as well as the quality and value for the price. They are definitely people that care more about satisfying customers and doing great work than just getting paid. I would most definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends and family. I am so happy about the job they did knowing I no longer have to worry about my roof.

The gas on my hot water was initially turned off for safety reasons because my basement flooded. When the gas company came back to turn the gas on they noticed carbon monoxide was backing up into the house. They told me to have my chimney inspected and the gas on my hot water heater remained off. I called First Rate to check it out and it turned out I needed a chimney liner. After receiving a few estimates I decided to go with First Rate because Tony was very knowledgeable about the chimney, gutters and even looked at other issues I had going. He was able to send 2 great guys to install chimney liner and complete project. They did a nice job cleaning up after the job as well. I would definitely recommend First Rate 1 construction. You will not be disappointed.

Had to have our chimney rebuilt chimney liners installed and also needed a mew flat roof. They explained everything step by step and the crew did an excellent job. I would highly recommend First Rate.

Would definitely recommend these guys. Not only did they come out quickly to check out our problem (we needed new gutters) but they came back a few days later to replace them. They were able to replace everything quickly, they look great and work like a charm. Reasonably priced too.
