I provided the water heater, Tony did a quote over the phone based on pictures I provided. He did want to install a pressure reducing valve and expansion tank for 300 more because my psi was 90, over the 80 psi limit. Required if purchasing from them optional if providing your own heater, a warranty issue I suppose. The "max working pressure" on the rating label is 140 so I chose not to do it. Previous 12 year Kenmore heater lasted 17 years before it rusted out and started leaking, it was rated for 150 psi. Perhaps I'll regret it in the future, IDK. Chris came to do the work, very professional, efficient with quality workmanship. Also I need to do the permit work which is ok to avoid additional processing fees others charge. Charges per item installed, EVERY ITEM so if you need major overhaul of valves, smoke stack, water or gas pipes, etc expect to pay more, I didn't. Otherwise price is competitive compared to other quotes I received.
