Denise was a life saver! My original makeup artist canceled 2 weeks before my wedding and Denise agreed to drive a long distance to help out at such short notice. She was very careful about making sure the outcome is according to my preference, and even drove all the way to Upstate NY for a trial. My skin did not breakout from her products. The day before my wedding I had a horrible zit that she completely took care of and saved the day. My makeup lasted 12 hours in Upstate heat and humidity! Unfortunately I had a small patch where the makeup started breaking due to sweat, but I was able to fix it with my foundation- and I know she is working on a touch up kit as well to avoid that from happening in the future. Overall, we bonded over great conversation, as well as advanced makeup techniques- and I couldnt have found a better MUA for my wedding. Highly recommend!

Denise is absolutely AMAZING! She did my hair and makeup for my friend's wedding. I was a bridesmaid and received so many compliments! Denise caters her techniques based on what you want. She also mixes her own palettes for makeup to match your skin tone perfectly. On top of that, she has an amazing vibe and I had an awesome time working with her. Definitely recommend and definitely will be calling her back in the future.

    First I like to get an idea of my clients expectations and desires. Then I try my best to execute and deliver what they are wanting. Lastly I do my best! My goal is to have my client happy and feeling confident.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started at 15. I was curious about makeup and started teaching myself using YouTube and books like Kevin Aucoin’s, “Making Faces”.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Know what you want. The kind of service, the kind of look, etc. The more you know what it is exactly that you are looking for the better any MUA can help you.
