My name is Daniel, I am the owner of Albela Contractors and Home Services. We specialize in custom woodworking and general carpentry. One of the most lamentable trends to have arisen among tradespeople of late is that of a desire to churn out a high volume of low-quality work displacing the fulfillment that comes from taking pride in producing quality work, one job at a time...in a word: craftsmanship has taken a back seat to "production". At Albela we believe in taking our time and doing the job right...whether we are building custom furniture or fixing a drawer that won't close properly. When we bought our home, it had a lot of serious water damage in addition to just being completely outdated. Of all the many things needing to be replaced, our bathroom shower was one of them. We had to remove old tile, an old tub and the surrounding walls to access a leak. Daniel came out, gave us a great quote for the work we needed. During his initial consultation, it was very clear that he knew exactly what needed to be done and how long it would take (approximately) the demolition was quick, and the repairs needed were done beautifully. He replaced our tile with Venetian plaster, which is timeless, and my favorite aspect, mold resistant. The project turned out beautifully. My husband and I highly recommend albela contractors for any of your home repairs/ improvement projects!

Working with Daniel was great. I had him build a dining room table and also completely remodel my walk-in closet. The product was beautiful. You can tell there was lots of attention to detail and a real passion for the craft. daniel was also very personable and trustworthy. Thanks again!

Quality work, took the time to glue the tongues and grooves of the beadboard they put up in the bathroom to prevent separation. They made custom moldings too because we couldn't find anything to match the style at home depot. Very knowledgeable, honest, and professional.
