- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Don't hesitate to ask questions. Also, look closely at the person who came to offer an estimate. It should be someone cordial, knowledgeable, well equipped (with an uniform or at least good appearance), and more importantly, someone who is punctual. If the first impression is not good enough, the job won't be either.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an appointment with the customer to discuss and observe the project. Our estimator walks through each step of the painting process, making sure that the customer is fully aware of what needs to be done. The customer is then presented with different options and discounts available to fit with budgetary expectations. If agreed, contract and color selection gets sent over email within a day, or within two days if physically.
