FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flourishing Heights provides free estimates. The cost of pruning and/or removing trees depends on the size of the tree, its species, and its accessibility with respect to personnel and the needed equipment. Please be assured that we are thoroughly committed to honesty in our work. We will always provide an honest assessment and estimate, and we'll work with you to determine an affordable price. Though estimates will vary, especially depending on accessibility, here is a general estimate framework for tree removal: Small Trees (about 15 feet): $225-$350 Medium Trees (about 25 feet*): $575-$890 Large Trees (about 40 feet): $1200-$2700 Extra Large Trees (about 65 feet): $2800-$4900 * A typical two-story house is about 20 feet in height
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we've been in contact, we'll schedule a time and day (that best accommodates your schedule) to visit your property and assess the work you would like completed. We'll provide an estimate following this assessment and propose a schedule for performing the work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Having worked with a number of tree services in three states since I was an undergraduate, I have received training, guidance, and mentoring from some of the most outstanding arborists in the industry, each with a unique command and artistry of the work. I started in the industry as a "ground-man" as a way to generate a modest income during college, and quickly thereafter received training as a "climbing-arborist." This remains a principal role me at Flourishing Heights, in addition to managing the business. I love the work and the industry, and I've remained committed to it since I first began.
