FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing depends on the design project and what is involved. Each project is different. We can work hourly or fixed fee cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is getting to know the needs of our client and what they are trying to accomplish in their room or office environment through having a very open discussion about the client's project via a phone call to start. Once we have discussed the needs we move on to what would be the best service to provide to the client and the budget for the project. We will set up an appointment to see the home or office space and further discuss the needs of the client in detail. Id the client is comfortable moving forward with our design service, a professional agreement to get the interior design project started will be reviewed and agreed upon. At this time a retainer fee is due along with signed agreement. Having an agreement leaves no room for misunderstanding. I know what the client expects and the client knows what the deliverable will be. Depending on the project scope, we will determine timeframe for the project and that will be discussed at initial appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the interior design industry for over 22 years and have graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York. I am a Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers which is a great distinction for an interior designer.
