FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a quote, we start with an initial consultation on your goals for the space - we’ll ask how you plan to use the space, colors or characteristics that makes you happy, and what you’d like recommended or purchased and your budget for it all. If needed, we may stop by for measurements or a shopping trip. From there, we’ll come back with a plan with the components we discussed and recommendations for achieving the look within your budget. We’ll want your feedback and to confirm the plan achieves your goal. As needed, we’re here to help make the “dream” reality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. degree in Engineering Physics which involved environmental design and building / materials coursework. Further experience and knowledge has been self-taught via online courses and hands-on experience with our own properties. I combine my previous experience as a consulting manager (8+ years) with my appreciation of beautiful design to bring client’s dream to life. In my role I was responsible for planning (scoping, budgeting) and delivering (managing teams and budget, client meetings, developing content) service-based projects to Fortune 500 companies. We now bring that polish to you and your projects.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first apartment was a 400 sq ft studio in Jersey City and I wanted it to stand out and be extremely space effective. We turned it into a sweet pink studio that we designed to be a functional, romantic space. From there, we started real estate investing as a side-hustle and found we enjoyed, and were successful, finding ways to make high-impact changes that still got the rentals rented out ASAP, but it required good project management processes and skills.
