Hi, I'm Ken from Artists4Parties, I can draw 2 people in color in 9 minutes and 1 person in color in 5, non stop, for 2 to 5 hours without a break, and without leaving the chair. I have 33 years experience. I can capture the likenesses very well, better than others who charge more. I wont strech peoples faces out, or make them feel uncomfortable, I make them look cute in color, holding hands with the date in a heart above them. I draw on 11 x 17, 67 pound white vellum paper. Ken did an amazing job at our 2018 corporate holiday party. Ken and staff showed up timely to the event and made sure all the employees walked away with a great caricature of themselves. Our staff loved this!! It was a huge hit. We would definitely consider booking them again for our next party.

Hired on Thumbtack

Asked for a deposit right away before offering any details or confirmations. After he finally responded We decided to go a different route for personal reasons and then he texted this to me because we didn’t choose him. As if we’re obligated to go with the first vendor. Extremely rude and disgusting unprofessional behavior.

Playing the test the waters at the artists expense. She canceled after getting me to pay for it. Not a serious inquiry, just in it for the drama, ..she said she'd hire me next time after keeping me on the hook, not calling me back, ignoring my texts for a deposit. Thats the kind of person that give this industry a bad name. Of course the deposit is important. What kind of company doesnt get the deposit? It too her four days to make up her mind and cancel. Meanwhile I had to cancel other requests for work. THATS why you get the deposit. It protects the artist.

Ken was great and everyone (kids and adults) loved his drawings, some wanted more than one. He was very professional, reasonably priced, nice, and funny. Would recommend and also use again!

Quick and easy...$135 per hour,. have 29 years in the business
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will usually call the client within 24 hours of them filling out the booking form, then I ask them for a $50 deposit to hold the date open,.after that, I email them the contract and we work on a design for the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been drawing caricatures for 29 years, before that some college and art school after being voted best artist in my high school class
