I selected Arturo after reading several reviews/bios of vocal instructors as well as piano accompanists in my area. I truly was unsure what type of assistance I was looking for. He responded so quickly I was actually embarrassed because I had left a note on this site at 7:30 am! He listened attentively to my description of vocal performance/rehearsal difficulty with my band. He determined that what I truly needed was either a piano accompanist or the ability to direct my bandmates more effectively. He left the door open if I should decide I needed coaching on vocal issues. Anyway, his professional, measured and patient assistance in diagnosing my issue was wonderfully valuable for me. Two nights later, I was relaxed enough to try a new piece at the tail end of a gig. I was able to have confidence and relax and videotaped the result so I could see exactly where my problem areas were. I credit the conversation with Arturo for my confident presentation and direction of the musicians. Now, I need to work on technique and vocal consistency within the song. If he is that great with a person he ends up not working with, he must be an incredible coach!

I've only had one voice lesson so far and already it's been fantastic. Arturo is very fun and patient with his clients, and very clearly values and is passionate about music and teaching music. He's very kind and clear about his instructions as well! He's really good about helping make his clients feel comfortable in their environment and has a great ear for finding his students' strengths and weaknesses!

I met Arturo for the first time today, and it was such a wonderful experience. He was very welcoming, he asked a lot of targeted questions about my project and about what I wanted to work on as far as my voice is concerned. I am a singer/songwriter and it is such an asset to me to have both a voice coach and an engineer who can not only help me nail my performances but also my recordings as I am working on an entire album.
I am so excited to have found someone who is so knowledgeable about the human voice and who is passionate about helping me get the best out of my voice, and I look forward to a long term relationship.

I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH ARTURO FOR YEARS. I love him so dearly. He has become a huge part of my life. He has helped me improve so much as a singer. He has helped me build my confidence and passion for singing. He has helped me grow not only as a singer, but as an individual. Arturo has been there for through thick and thin. He is like a second father to me. He is also like a mentor for me, and has been guiding me in the right direction for years. He has inspired me to pursue my singing career and try out for as many auditions as possible. Arturo is truly one of the best voice teachers out there, and I highly recommend him. He is definitely a 200 out of 5 stars in my book. <3

Four months ago, I became Arturo's student and he has literally transformed my voice in the most positive way. Not only does he have incredible detailed knowledge about the anatomical and technical aspects of the voice, but he also deeply understands the psychology of the vocal student. After previous disappointing experiences with other voice teachers, I felt that improvement was impossible. However, under Arturo's instruction my voice has improved well beyond my expectations. He's a phenomenal teacher and I plan on continuing to study with him indefinitely.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services are varied. For standard vocal lessons I charge $100.00 per session. I have a sliding scale for younger students which works on a case to case basis.
For recording the rate stays the same per hour. For music notation writing out songs it is $150.00 per song. I am happy to charge a flat rate for long term projects once again on a case to case basis.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I constantly study and work with music and a new generation of students and colleagues.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started singing at age 3 and began learning instruments shortly thereafter. My initial university experience was very negative and for the first time in my life I lost my voice (after having my first vocal lessons. I was fortunate to find a new and great teacher and took responsibility for my own vocal talent and development. My best teachers all felt because of my love music and singing and of the process itself that it would be my destiny to become a teacher and help to carry on the tradition of Italian singing. It is a destiny that I have embraced with love and respect.
