KONstruct is a full-service architectural and engineering firm founded by Steven Koniuk, PE, RA (one of the few individuals licensed as both an architect and engineer). While our services can be provided as a comprehensive integrated package, we also offer our services individually. With strategic partnerships in place with contractors, material suppliers, subcontractors, equity groups, and consultants, you can be sure that KONstruct will add value to your project. Steven has been wonderful to work with. He is very responsive, thorough and understanding of the needs of his clients. We have hired local architects in the past but none have compared to the quality of work we have received from Steven. Our company, while rather small, often reconstructs a few decks in a local shore town each year and we will look forward to utilizing Steven's company for all of our future clients. We are currently building a new construction home and needed an Architect / Engineer to review our roof plans. Steven was extremely helpful helping me understanding the differences in trusses and stick building the roof. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner and made sure I understood the scope of the work. If we have any future needs with this build, Steven will be my first call.

Steven the owner of the company was extremely professional and knowledgeable . He takes his job very seriously and goes out of his way to explain everything he finds . He is not only a licensed engineer but also a licensed architect so you are getting two for the price of one . He helped address a drainage issue we were having .If we decide to build I would have no problem calling him and using him on the project .Great to know there are still people in this world that care about what they do and do it well!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All projects are different (different scopes of work, services, timeline, etc). Feel free to reach out, and we can have a formal discussion and I can provide a detailed proposal. Typically I provide fixed-fee services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First some quick chats, emails, etc. to understand client needs and project scope/requirements. Then preferable either a phone call or video chat to discuss project specifics. Finally, I will issue a formal proposal outlining everything in detail. Once approved, the project begins!
