FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is always based off a standard site visit/service charge to show up, an hourly rate for 1-2 guys, or a full crew for large jobs, we price the job at the going rate and to include all our rates, overheads, insurance, taxes, cost to operate and do the job. Discounts are given at 5% for veterans and seniors
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically find its benefitial to both us us to get some photos text or emailed up front to give us an idea of what the house looks like now, and the pics show details of the house we need to see. We look through these and ask as many questions as we can about the project and what the goal is for the finish line. We do our best to go through this and ball park a number before we come out to the site. It's not that we don't want to come out and see your home, in fact we want most jobs of people that call us for work. A great example is a siding quote and a new customer looking for a new siding job. We are able to see photos and possibly say the job cost from $35K down to $30K. If you know that works for your budget then it makes sense to do a site visit and come out as the job seems promising. If you had the expectation the job should be $10-15K, it's probably best to not consider it or have us come out at that point. Once we get through project motives, goals, budgets, we know if it's going to be a good fit at this point and if so we look to come out and do all our final measurements before we sign any contracts. For roofing and siding we create a 3D model, we can do this with new decks also. Our next step is to sign a contract specifying details of the job with materials we bid to use for the job. We then accept a check for deposit, put the job on the calendar, order the supplies and wait for them to come and us to free up. We then come out do the job to satisfaction and take payment. Some jobs take multiple payments depending on the size.
