- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Weekday performances are priced slightly lower than weekends, which are largely in demand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Get details on the event and understand the vibe and the expectations of the customer. 2. Provide a detailed quote 3. If accepted, I send a "Performance Agreement" via email, and the customer pays a deposit to hold the date. Deposits are generally 25% of the performance fee, unless travel is involved. Deposits also serve as the customer's signature or acknowledgement of the terms and conditions in the agreement. No need for wet signatures. 4. On date of performance, the balance due is collected from the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Chavez College of Manual Dexterity and Prestidigitation, founded in 1941. The only accredited college that ever existed where one could learn the performance of magic. However, in recent years it lost its accreditation due to requirements for having a "campus" among other criteria associated with post-secondary educational institutions.
