- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will price by the hour the day or by the job if I am not sure how long something will take. My subs work for my company unless some other arrangement has been made and quoted. I also accept credit cards, cash, venmo and paypal. I charge a one hour $50.00 consultation fee regardless of how much time is spent on research, travel, and time with client. As others know the research done is throughout the process off client site.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to what they need, make suggestions and decide on a time when I can come to evaluate their space. I like to look at a whole house because the rest of the house may effect the space that needs the work. I take pictures, a lot! I will then quote the job and estimate how long it will take. They are many ways to accomplish the same goals. Not right or wrong just different. Always keep an open mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently enrolled in NAPO: National Association of Professional Organizers.I have also taken a tremendous amount of Video Courses for MaxSold.com. This is helping me with my Senior Downsizing opportunities. I do a tremendous amount of research on web sites for pricing information and details. And 6 years of you name it, I've seen it is a tremendous education.
