FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Where I teach, students can apply for scholarship. For students who do not have a scholarship, talk to me in advance, before lessons begin as far as meeting whatever needs you have. Advanced notice helps and time of year. Early fall and right before summer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Lots of listening to their needs and concerns. Focusing on goals that they have and just having fun with music! I do ask that students consult me before they purchase an instrument or accessories.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Suzuki teacher training for all violin books 1-10. Teacher training for advanced students with Burton Kaplan and Doris Pruecil. My college teacher, Shirley Givens (Adventure in Violinland) who taught violin to the children of world famous violinists Pinkas Zucherman and Itzak Perlman.
