What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You wouldn't think there is any continuing education for construction, but think of this. Their are many different state and city codes you have to follow and each year they change. We take multiple classes through out the year to receive up to date construction code training and other certifications.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
For years I have been doing small residential projects for myself and friends. It grew into having to turn people down due to time restraints. I finally decided one day that I was tired of working hard for someone else to get rich. I spent a few months planning and preparing myself to start up RC Remodeling. The company hit the ground running and has been busy ever since day one. We are excited about the growth and advancement our company has made.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Majority of homeowners are staying at their current residence and renovating instead of selling and buying new. The best rooms to remodel for a good return on money invested would be a Kitchen or Bathroom Remodel. Basement Remodeling is a popular option as well giving the client a more usable finished square footage to their home. Most new home owners are Finishing their Basements to add more finished square footage, bathroom, or another bedroom. This helps increase the value of their property back to where it was before the housing market crash.
