Introduction

I started playing drums at the age of 5. Drumming quickly turned from hobby to lifestyle for me. I was consumed by the liberating feeling I got from music. That alone has inspired me to share my passion with others! I started teaching privately at home and then went into business with a former bandmate in 2018. Since then I've worked with over 60 students of all ages and backgrounds with all different skill sets. I'm confident I can give you the foundation to take your playing to the next level, whether you're a long time player or a beginner! Message me to start.

My son has progressed tremendously under Geddy's instruction. Tommy looks forward to lessons with Geddy every week. Their lessons always start on time and end on time (which is nice with my busy schedule) - Geddy also works with me on last minute notice when we have to reschedule lessons. When my wife brings Tommy to drum lessons she likes that she can sit in the room during the lessons while I like that I can sit in the waiting room and use their wifi to knock out some work. Tommy's improvement is noticeable and is continually challenged with new instruction even after about of year of instruction. Tommy also likes that the music selection is varied and he has a say in the music that he is learning.

I think it's important to first learn my students goals and find out what they want to get out of music. Finding what inspires them is how I keep them around!

I started by giving lessons to friends. I was approached by a guitar instructor who was looking for a drum instructor for their business.
