I am an award winning, natural light, portrait photographer in the Winston Salem, NC area. My mission is to make beautiful images that reflect who you really are while making you feel confident and comfortable in front of my camera. No modeling experience needed, I will take care of everything. I specialize in High School Seniors, Family, Tweens, Couples/Engagement, and Wedding Portrait Photography. My heart's desire behind capturing your photos is this: I want to make you feel BEAUTIFUL. I want to make the process FUN. And I want to make sharing your images EASY. Holy cow batman! These are AMAZING, WONDERFUL, MARVELOUS, BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING, and WOW pictures! I have worked with Shaun Stockton Photography for many occasions. Each of our sessions has been totally different. We have created amazing family photos, wonderful individual images, and even photos with our beloved pets. Shaun is flexible and very capable of getting the shots you want! She is so creative and a blast to work with. She is taking pictures of you while you are making memories and she knows this. Shaun captures those little moments: a kiss on the nose, the wind blowing a sprig of hair onto your face, the look of Christmas in a child's eye, or even a fearless pirate taking over a ship (my son was ready for Halloween and having fun on his swing-set). The best is when she photographs your dog sticking his tongue out at you when you aren't even looking! Shaun was an amazing person to work with! From getting incredible shots to making me laugh the whole time, she definitely helped bring out my individuality and creativity! We explored the city and found cool spots for photography. I’ve shot with many different people and Shaun is definitely my favorite to work with. I highly recommend shooting with her. While scrolling through the pictures she captured, I thought they looked amazing … even before editing. She can make you look like a piece of art. She guides you through it all if you need the help. She is a photography Picasso, a true artist! I can’t wait to work with her again.

Sometimes photo shoots can be stressful and awkward, but not with Shaun Stockton Photography. We loved our experience with Shaun! We felt like she did everything for us. She sent us tips on what to wear and what not wear. She prepped us for the weather, even up to the morning of the pictures. She explained poses to us during the shoot. And not only that, she made picture taking fun for my kids!! We can't even get them to smile like she did. We felt that her knowledge, confidence, and passionate spirit made these portraits fun, simple, and excellent.

Shaun was very laid back and enjoyable to work with. We have gotten so many compliments on our senior's photos. Shaun has given us images that we will cherish for a lifetime. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a natural light photographer all of my life -- truly (I am the kid who had a darkroom set up in my bathroom while growing up). I have over 20 years of computer photo editing experience and have been doing portrait photography as my full-time job since 2016. I couldn't be happier. Life is good!
