**NOTE** Please note that my lessons are conducted online so I can work with clients around the country! Hello! My name is Brandon and I'm excited to work with you! When I first started playing guitar I originally took lessons and I'm very glad that I did--it helped me to develop some good technique and get over the beginner's hump that we have to deal with. After conducting lessons from 2020-2023, I took a break to focus on playing music professionally. Now that I'm established as a musician, I am excited to get back to working with clients to help them achieve their musical goals; whatever that may be. I find playing music to be very theraputic, and worth the investment 10x over. That being said, it can be very difficult to get started! That's where I'm here to help! My resume: I've played acoustic and electric guitar for almost 20 years I've worked with over 70 students with a variety of background and experience I've worked with some students for just a month or two; while others over a year I've played music professionally as a solo-artist for over three years and have played almost 300 shows I conduct lessons in-person in Wilmington, NC or via Zoom/video chat with students all across the country. My first lesson is always free and I view that as an opportunity to get to know each other. It's important to discuss how often you'll want lessons, what you want to be able to do with the guitar, what kind of music you want to play, and what expectations you have. If you decide it's not a good fit, you don't owe a penny. However, if you decide to move forward, you'll be getting: -Personalized instruction that's tailored to your specific skillset and interests -Any relevant charts, tabs, or diagrams discussing any new concept -An e-mail after our lesson with a quick summary of what we've covered -The support and encouragement from your instructor (me) who truly cares and wants to see you take guitar to wherever you want to go! I'm comfortable teaching both acoustic and electric guitar, and I've had a lot of success working with students who are brand new, students who've been playing for a few years, and anywhere in between! Whether you've never even picked up a guitar, or have learned to play some chords and some songs but feel stuck in a rut, I'm happy to work with you to build on what you've already learned and get you to a place you want to be.
