- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing begins at $200 for a local (Charlotte area), simple civil ceremony and goes up from there. My fee depends on your needs i.e. travel distance, length and style of ceremony, rehearsal, etc. I can be flexible on pricing based on your wants and needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process for moving forward is: (1) to have a free consultation by text, message, phone, or video call to connect about the vision for your ceremony and for you to see if I'm a good fit for your needs, then (2) complete a simple online contract and (3) arrange payment My fee includes my travel, unlimited consultations, ceremony planning, officiating the ceremony (traditional ceremony with vows, ring exchange, etc) and filing the marriage license.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Georgia. I was ordained in 1998 while serving a church in Athens, GA as the Pastor of Music and Worship. I have been a full-time minister since then serving churches in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina. I've had over 25 years experience of helping couples plan and facilitate their wedding ceremony, in grand or intimate venues, either as an officiant or as a musician. I have been married to my wife, Ellen since 2006 so I can say from experience that marriage is one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of a lifetime.
