My name is Talon Osmon, I’m originally from San Diego, Ca and moved to the Charlotte area about 3 years ago and opened up my own private training facility on 9791 rea rd waxhaw, NC.
I’ve been a trainer for about 6 years now. My fitness journey started as a 15 year old kid. I was 6ft 135lbs and had a lot of insecurities and some less than ideal experiences throughout my life that I had no control over. At a young age, it clicked on me that being in really good shape was the one thing that I had 100% control over and having achieved what I’ve achieved in fitness, it has not just physically, but mentally. I now know the value of being in good shape (moving well without pain and looking good) and how much of a positive impact it has on your overall well being and I want to help people who don’t feel confident in themselves to be able to look in the mirror and be proud of what they see.
Throughout my fitness journey, I’ve always questioned why? Why should I do this if I want big/toned quads? Is this the best possible way? What about this particular exercise makes it good for my goal of putting on muscle? Why does my body respond to this much volume? Why is this the best exercise for this? Do I really need to be doing this in order to lose body fat? Wtf is the point of doing a burpee? How could I make this exercise more efficient and effective, etc. I wanted to get rid of the fluff and stick with the things that I know provide me value and align with my goals rather than doing things just to do them.
So I sought out some of the brightest minds in the fitness industry when it comes to exercise execution, anatomy, biomechanics and how it apples to exercise. ( @n1.education @hypertrophycoach ) and invested thousands of my own dollars to learn IN PERSON from them, I also have experience as a bodybuilder and placed top 5 in 3 different national competitions and with that, learned the ins and outs of fat loss and body composition techniques to provide my clients with the highest quality most efficient service possible.
I’ve had the privilege in working with NFL and NBA players in person throughout my career, but the majority of my clientele is the general population aged 35-65 who want to continue to build muscle as they age to maintain mobility and live pain free for the entirety of life it’s never too late! I also train kids as young as 8 years old who want to learn the proper mechanics of exercise and to carry good habits of effort and adherence to for 1. Get better at sports or 2. To have the confidence of having muscle and the proper habits that come along with it.
I am confident there isn’t a higher quality service you can find at another gym in the charlotte area.
If you wanna learn the ins and outs of proper strength training and want to make sure you’re using your time wisely in the gym or have always wanted to get into it but have been afraid of not knowing how or what to do.. I rarely have spots available but I just had a couple spots open up for the first time in a while, looking forward to working with you!
