Our experience with Shooting Star Media honestly could not have been any better. Blake was an incredible find for us, from start to finish the customer service experience as well as the quality of work we received was amazing. Blake called me early on to listen to the scope of our project, offered helpful suggestions and really took the time to advise the best package for our needs. Everything felt very tailored to us. I really appreciated the amount of communication before the event and on the actual day of our event. He arrived early, talked with me about his plan and asked if there was anything extra I was looking for. He was working for the entire length of the event and was so pleasant to talk to! Our team and guest fell in love with his humor and talent. We are absolutely keeping his name in our books as our go to videographer/photographer TLTR: Very organized, professional, talented team. Absolutely recommend for any event!

I own a video production company that films conferences. We had an event where I need another camera operator. I hired Blake Pace and he did a fantastic job. He was on time, very professional, filmed exactly like I asked and was a pleasure to work with. He's one of the best contractor videographers I've had the pleasure of working with. I know he does a lot more than sit behind a camera. After working with him I would definitely say he would be excellent to hire in any aspect of videography. I hope to work with him again in the future.

Blake is awesome! We really appreciated how professional and also “go with the flow” he was for our wedding, given that there were some unplanned changes that happened day of. He was so kind and willing to show up at our new photo location when it started raining at the original one, and we really were grateful for that. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$75/hr estimated cost. Discounts for full or multiple days. 10% discounts on gigs booked before January 1, 2023 (even if gig is after January 1, 2023)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical gig process is as follows: 1) Customer provides details of gig (video requirements, shoot dates, purpose of video, etc) 2) Shooting Star Media will deliver a quote 3) Upon acceptance of quote, Shooting Star Media will provide a service agreement and an invoice for half the total cost of service. 4) Once the service agreement is signed by both parties and a deposit of half the total cost of service has been paid, the shoot day/edit schedule will be reserved for customer. 5) After Shooting Star Media delivers final product the customer will have the opportunity to request revisions. 6) When the customer is fully satisfied with the final product, Shooting Star Media will send an invoice for the remaining balance. 7) Both parties walk away happy!
