- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been passionate about food and cooking. I always say that cooking for others is my love language. I started my cooking career cooking for a neighbor who was very sick and couldn’t make meals for her family. I would cook every dinner for them and they started giving me ideas and it’s how Chef Stacey started. During Covid I did chef meals to go so you could have a date night at your house.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I hosted a big dinner party for 8 people to celebrate a birthday. I sat down with the husband who was hosting and we came up with a menu that was catered to his wife and what she loved. We did 6 courses and I was there to be part of the celebration. It was just great to see people celebrate with the food you make for them!
