We recently completed a 4,000 sq ft whole-home remodel where I served as the homeowner GC. The project involved gutting almost the entire home to the studs. We hired M&G to renovate 4 bathrooms and tile our kitchen backsplash.
Out of all of the subcontractors we hired for this large project, M&G Renovations is at the very top of my list. I would strongly recommend M&G Renovations for the following reasons:
1) Quality of Work: The quality of work that M&G Renovations produces is unlike any other contractor that we worked with throughout the project. Mario does not cut any corners when it comes to the prep work & planning, which is a big part of why the quality of the final product is so high. He takes the time to make sure every detail is planned for. After the prep work was complete, Mario carefully measured and planned out the placement of the tiles so that we would not have any tiny slivers in corners and so that the tile pattern would be centered. His tile work is like art - so carefully and thoughtfully placed.
Not only was I personally pleased with the quality of work, but the contractors that worked in our home after Mario commented on the quality and beauty of his tile work. The glass company was blown away by how square and plumb our framing was for our new showers (which makes their job much easier for shower glass installation).
2) Communication: M&G’s communication was excellent. Prior to hiring them, we met at the house to review what was needed for each bathroom & the kitchen. I promptly received a written quote that included all of the details we went over. Scheduling is primarily done with Germania, who is excellent with communication. She answers texts and emails promptly and is always friendly.
When remodeling an older home, there are always going to be unexpected surprises found within the walls once the demolition stage is over. M&G promptly communicated any issues (for example, the subfloor being uneven) and explained the solutions in a way that I could easily understand.
I am admittedly very detail oriented (in other words, picky) and one of the things I enjoy the most about working with Mario is that this never seemed to frustrate him. I like to ask a lot of questions so that I understand what is going to happen. Mario & Germania always took the time to answer my questions and to come up with solutions so that the final product would match my vision.
I also appreciated that M&G worked well with our other contractors (electrician, plumber, etc). Mario’s assistant is also very pleasant and easy to get along with. I always felt safe with M&G working in our home. They were all very friendly to my children which is also important to me.
3) Reliability: M&G was extremely reliable. They showed up on time & if anything in the schedule needed to change, M&G communicated this to me in a timely manner.
4) Knowledge: With all sincerity, I do not believe I could have completed this remodel without the help of M&G. Our remodel unexpectedly “snowballed” once we opened up the walls and found some unexpected surprises. Mario is an absolute wealth of knowledge about ALL things construction. I will be forever thankful for not only our beautiful bathrooms and kitchen, but also for all of the advice Mario provided along the way. We also hired Mario to complete some smaller-scale projects throughout the remodel. The quality of his work, work ethic and attention to detail is unmatched.
In summary, if I had been able to hire M&G to complete the entire home renovation, I absolutely would have. M&G takes a lot of pride in the quality of their work. They stand behind their work. I will genuinely miss working with them and would not hesitate to hire them in the future.

Mario and Germania were wonderful to work with. They were very helpful in picking out items for our bathroom remodel and making sure all the choices would work well in our design. Manny repeatedly gave us choices in our design and accommodated our wishes. We requested extra work be done replacing old plastic pipes and Mario agreed. Mario does fantastic work, aims to please and delivers in a timely fashion. We are happy to recommend M & G Renovations to anyone remodeling their home. We look forward to having them complete our next remodeling project in the near future.

I was very impressed by M&G's work and would engage them in a heartbeat again. Mario and his assistant did excellent work in my complete bathroom remodel. There was significant mold uncovered after the demolition and my floor was not level. Mario overcame these obstacles and produced a great result --- on time and at a reasonable cost. This contractor is reliable and very easy to work with. And Germania was great to work with as well in her support of the project, very responsive and detail oriented.

I cannot say enough good things about Mario and Germania! Mario did a fantastic job with our bathroom renovation- quality work, punctual, and kept the space so clean. Germania is so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They are both really kind people and went above and beyond to meet a deadline due to us having a baby on the way. I highly recommend them and will use them again once we are ready to renovate our primary bathroom.
