FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We tailor our pricing to the budgets of our clients and bid when opportunities are a good fit. Sometimes that may mean I bid less than my normal fees, but it's always worth it. Mine is a custom business so it's important to be flexible. Discounts are offered when larger volumes of work are involved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is the key to great results in photography. We make it a point to learn as much as we can about the client's wishes and goals for their photography session. We're happy to offer suggestions along the way and then apply decades of knowledge and experience to create images that make a positive and lasting impact.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A lifetime of education and training which began, simply with classes at Mitchell Community College in Basic, Intermediate, and Darkroom photography. I was fortunate to further develop my skills through an apprenticeship opportunity in Commercial Photography and to make the transition to digital imaging while working in the photography studio of a large regional retail corporation. Now, even as I've become an instructor myself, I am continually studying and improving my craft to better serve both my clients and students.
