I am a Gen X-er, I have been assembling and repairing things my entire life. I may be a little straightforward, and grumpy, but I show up on time and a complete every project to perfection. I’ve recently joined Thumbtack and hope to earn your business.
On another note, my wife, clean homes, professionally, and install wallpaper, she is very meticulous and does amazing work. She is from Venezuela and very proud of what she does, and has been living here for five years, and I’m telling you this woman and her daughter do amazing work. She is looking for a few weekly or monthly accounts, cleaning homes or assisting with wallpapering projects.

Brooks and Sons / Patrick & Julie did an amazing job for me. Overwhelmed with all the things left to do before I put my house on the market. My garage was a mess! Dirty, a catastrophe! They showed up on time, listened to what I needed. Told them anything they saw that they believed needed to get tossed, to put it in one pile and everything else that they didn’t know what to do with to just put it in a pile in the center of the garage, and left them alone to do their work, they took everything out of the garage, organized and cleaned and it’s perfect. They were spot on with the recommendations for what to toss. They cleaned out the cobwebs. Swept. I will call them again and recommend them to everyone I know. And I am overwhelmed no longer. They are very kind and professional in every way!
When I asked how much $$ after they saw the work to be done, they quoted me exactly what I felt it would cost.

Patrick showed up to my house with his family after initially telling me he had a 3 man crew. The first date that I scheduled he cancelled and said he could do the job on Saturday which was fine with me. On Saturday Patrick was at my house from 11:30 until 12:30 and only had completed the lower trim of my house. Knocked on my door and told my wife that he had brought the wrong ladder and would be back in a few minutes. He then lied to my wife stating I had told him the wrong elevation of my house to which Patrick and I never discussed the elevation of my home only shared photos of my home. I called him and he told me it would be an hour and he would be back to complete the job and that it was his mistake of reading the wrong message. Patrick never came back on Saturday, in fact, he text me 3 hrs later and told me that he could come back on today.
I told him that was fine and that 8:00 -10 am would work. Sunday morning, he showed up at 9 o’clock (again with his wife) and left around 10 with no extra work completed. This time he just left the job without a heads up that he was leaving . I’ve called and have had no response.
