Rowan got my gas log pilot to stay lit in less than an hour, after two competitors failed, and the cost was the lowest of the three. Lesson learned: Hire a recommended gas log SPECIALIST, not an hvac company nor a chimney/fireplace inspection company!

I had been trying for nearly a year to find a vendor to fix our gas fireplace venting system. I contacted multiple vendors (including one that had specifically done some work in my neighborhood!) who all shied away from the project without even coming out to look at the situation. I contacted Rowan Heating and Chimney and received a same-day response that they would come out to give me an estimate. They showed up early in the day and figured it out quickly and sent me a written estimate in less than 24 hours. Once I told them to go ahead, we just needed to wait for the parts and then for a mutually-available opportunity (and it was winter holiday season, which obviously and predictably complicates the process of finding mutual availability). Through the whole process they have been communicative, responsive, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. And, honestly, they came out to do our project more quickly than I was expecting. I plan to recommend them to neighbors and friends who need work done.
