FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price is $85 a session for those not looking for a long term commitment. If committing to a package of 10, that price drops down to $75. I'm flexible and I reward long term customers with additional drops in pricing. If you refer others to me and it ends up in a purchase, I also offer $20 off your next 5 sessions and their first 5 sessions. I thrive on word of mouth and almost all of my business has been through these means.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is an intake session. I get to know the client. We discuss their goals, their health history(injuries, surgeries, illnesses, etc), their exercise history, and any other relevant topics that I need to know about. We then start to go into a brief movement assessment where I take them through a series of tests to get a general idea of how they're moving and what things we need to work on. After that we move into super in-depth tutorials of the core exercises that will be in their program. After a while, they're program begins to take shape and I start to assign homework as well as workouts on their own. One of my goals for my clients is to empower them to be able to train anywhere, not just with me, but on their own.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise(ACE) as well as an Orthopedic Exercise Specialist. I studied nutrition and maintain a Precision Nutrition Certification. I'm also a Functional Movement Specialist. I've had many fantastic coaches over the years and I've learned many different modalities.
