FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Hawk Feather Photo and Designs, we strive to offer transparent and flexible pricing tailored to each individual project. Our pricing is typically based on the scope of the work, and we can break it down into two payments or weekly installments to make things more manageable for you. As a rough estimate, our pricing is generally $100 per page for website development. For example, a simple landing page will cost around $100, while a full website with about 5 pages will be approximately $500. We understand that each project is unique, so feel free to reach out for a custom quote or to discuss specific features and design elements. Additionally, we occasionally offer discounts for ongoing projects or referrals, so don’t hesitate to ask about any current promotions. If you have any other questions about fees or payment options, we’re happy to provide more details and ensure the pricing fits within your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Hawk Feather Photo and Designs, we believe in a collaborative and transparent process when working with new customers. Here’s what you can expect from us: 1. **Initial Consultation/Presentation**: Our first meeting is all about understanding your needs and vision. We’ll present some of our previous work and discuss your ultimate goals for the project. This is where we dive into the specifics of what you need and assess whether we’re the right fit to help bring your ideas to life. 2. **Proposal and Agreement**: After the consultation, we’ll send over a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, and pricing. Once you’re happy with the plan, we’ll proceed with the agreement and a deposit to kick off the project. 3. **Midway Check-In**: About halfway through the design process, we’ll schedule our second meeting. This is when we share our progress, ask for your feedback, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the design aligns with your vision. 4. **Final Delivery and Training**: Our final meeting will focus on delivering the completed website and providing you with a walkthrough of how to operate the back end. We want to ensure you feel comfortable managing your site moving forward, so we’ll take the time to go over everything in detail. We’re committed to keeping communication clear and open at every stage, ensuring your project is exactly what you envision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At Hawk Feather Photo and Designs, my journey as a web designer has been shaped by both hands-on experience and ongoing education. I’ve been a business owner since 2020, which has given me invaluable experience in building and managing my own websites, as well as handling marketing for my business and a real estate brokerage. This hands-on work helped me understand the importance of a strong online presence, and over time, I realized how much I enjoyed helping others create their own websites and manage their digital marketing. This passion led me to formalize my skills further, so I’m currently enrolled in UX/UI design classes to continue growing and refining my abilities. The combination of practical experience and education in user experience design ensures that I can offer both effective solutions and user-friendly designs for every project I take on.
