Carlo Avila has been teaching ballroom, Latin and swing dancing professionally for 15+ years. He has trained two students who have gone on to win national titles, and several who’ve won regional titles. He loves his students dearly and takes a great deal of pride in their success. Carlo is a certified instructor of American style of ballroom dance, and a member of the National Dance Council of America. He grew up in Colombia, where he began dancing at a very young age and began his professional career in the United States in 2005, where he was trained under several international champions and top coaches. He has also completed special trainings in tango (Buenos Aires, Argentina), salsa (Cali, Colombia), and Samba (Rio de Janiero Brazil.)
