Adam was great to work with. He made us a custom table for behind our sectional. Adam was quick to reply and worked with us on our needs even when the scope of the project changed a few times. Will definitely use him again in the future for any carpentry needs.

Had an excellent experience with Callus and Splinters on a large front porch/side porch demo and rebuild. They responded to our initial inquiry quickly and were able to review the site and provide a quote within a few days. They worked with us to finalize the scope of work to our needs and answered multiple questions. Once scheduled, they showed up on time to do the work and completed the job under schedule. All of which should be the norm, but is not, in my experience. Additionally, the materials used were excellent and though the job was not at all straight-forward (100-year-old house), they problem-solved and came up with solutions that made sense. With the exception of some additional work we requested mid-job, the final bill was exactly as quoted. Add to this a neat work site and clean up and we are happy customers.

Callus & Splinters are top notch, talented carpenters. They rebuilt a staircase off our deck, were flexible about the design, as well as a last minute minor change. Adam and Lee are very professional and respectful, and took care of every aspect of the job, from the original estimate to the final step, and trash removal.
