Four Strong Home is based in Pittsboro, a few minutes south of UNC-Chapel Hill. Please read our reviews. We pride ourselves on our care for our clients and for their homes and families. Handiwork, Repairs, & Odd Jobs 4. TV Mounting & Installation 5. Furniture & Equipment Assembly 6. Floor Painting 7. Design & Space Consulting Your home should be your sanctuary. And that’s how we treat every home we visit and every customer we do work for. We take pride in what we do and in the service we provide. NOTE: We do not do anything that risks harm to your family or property - or to ours. So we don't hang any pictures or mirrors or TVs that are not going to be securely fastened according to our years of experience. We also do not hang pictures or move objects where there is danger of a fall, such as hanging pictures where we have to climb on a bed or table or on a stairwell. We have a $99 minimum charge for any job. We do not charge for drive time. We generally work as 2-person crews at $40/hour per person. Occasionally, we may need to use special hardware or other supplies to finish a project in the best and safest way, and we will either let you know ahead of time or on the job the cost of these additional supplies. David and team showed up on time (actually notified me they could come early!) and were efficient in getting the job done. They recommended the best way to hang a large picture in my home and ensured it was hung securely. They also were kind enough to help me with another small furniture setup task I had been struggling with. I would definitely have them return for help with more home projects!

Great work, responsive and professional. I def think it was overpriced so next time I will stick with wayfair assembly which would hve been $40 less. Other than that, great.

We appreciate the nice words. The reality, however, is that Wayfair assembly for this bed frame is $99.99 and not the $40.00 this customer seems to think it is. We won't mention the last minute 2-hour delay she took out of our workday, and that we moved appointments around to get to her quickly because we knew she needed the bed frame to sleep after recently moving. But she is right about this - we do great work; we're responsive; and we're professional. Above all, though, we're honest. And the honest response to this erroneous information is that some people seem to think your time isn't worth being paid for. Next time? Yes. Get Wayfair to do it. Merry Christmas.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For typical jobs, we use an hourly rate of $85 per hour for a 2-man crew. Our minimum charge is one hour of work. We charge for any non-standard materials, such as special hanging hardware for large paintings or mirrors. We can estimate how long a job will take as best we can. But we like our work done right and know you expect it that way. So, we take the time to do it right.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first and foremost goal is to understand your goals for your project and for your home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained originally in design and consulting. I was a business manager and executive for other companies before I started mine. The people who work with me all have similar backgrounds.
