It has become increasingly difficult to socialize a dog to the point that they are calm and neutral in public which has led to a huge rise in the popularity of our Board & Train Program. During the Board & Train a Haven trainer keeps the dog in their home and trains the dog as if it were their own. Daily updates are sent to update owners as we train, socialize, and proof the dog around all manner of dogs, people, and environments. I had a great experience working with Ben- always available to answer questions and really knows how to connect with my pup. We worked on separation anxiety and leash reactivity/manners in a 3-private lesson package. I finally was able to learn techniques to really get my dog to listen and trust me- and he is getting better every day! I highly recommend Haven Dog Training.

Ben did an amazing job with Bob! I definitely see the difference in him in just the 5 days he spent with him. It was hard being away from him, but Ben gave me daily updates and pictures of Bob every day without fail! I HIGHLY recommend him! I now feel comfortable taking Bob out to be a dog safely. Ben will be the trainer I look to advice for all my dogs from now on.

I am a licensed veterinarian, and Ben at Haven Dog Training is my preferred dog trainer. I discuss behavior and the importance training with every client at each appointment. Ensuring your pet is well mannered, and understands what you are communicating to them, in addition to you understanding how they are communicating with you, is as important as any medication I can prescribe. Additionally, Ben is a Local, overall good guy. Your pets will be in good hands with Ben. I know mine are.

It was such a pleasure working with Ben. I can already tell a huge difference in my puppy! I really appreciated Ben keeping me updated throughout her boarding/training. I was really at my wits end with puppy training - but now she is much more confident, obedient and loving showing off her new tricks. I can't sing Ben's praises enough.

Ben is amazing! He really helped my Zoey with her anxiety. I sent Zoey in for the 5 day board and train and he helped her build up a foundation to keep up her confidence. I also really love that he texts you updates and photos while he has your pup! He really knows what he is doing and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! The photo I’m attaching was her last day with him when she conquered Home Depot, somewhere she was terrified of before! Thank you Ben!

Program prices are both below and available on the website. Please note: Puppy programs are for ages 4 months and under. 3 Puppy Lessons (Includes placeboard, leash, and treats) $400 4 E-Collar Lessons (Includes ecollar, place board, and slip lead) $900 Puppy 15 Day Fundamentals (Includes leash and placeboard) $1,550 Puppy Raising Program: $3,000/month 15 Day Board & Train (Includes ecollar, placeboard, and slip lead) $2,500 20 Day Board & Train (Includes ecollar, placeboard, and slip lead) $3,100 30 Day Board & Train (Includes ecollar, placeboard, and slip lead) $4,300 Extreme Behavior Modification Board & Train 6 weeks $6,000 Individual lessons are available upon completion of a program for $100/lesson. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free consultation either in person or over the phone that is conducted by the owner Ben Berenfield. Ben will learn about your dog(s) and training goals in order to help find the right program for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My favorite part about dog training is that the learning truly never stops. In my free time I enjoy traveling the country learning from world renowned trainers and behaviorists in order to further my skill set.
