Hi there, I'm Michael Stephenson. Since moving to North Carolina in 2004 and growing up in Chapel Hill, I’ve recently relocated to Morrisville, NC to better serve my customers across the Triangle area. My journey in home improvement began in 2013 when I learned how to build a house from the ground up. Since then, I've been perfecting my craft and expanding my expertise. Michael was great to work with! This is my first experience with Thumbtack and I was not disappointed. Michael is a very courteous professional who took the time to explain the situation with my fan electrical box. He rectified the issue without any fuss, installed my fans and handled a couple other tasks around the house. Ended up saving a trip to the store and a new lock as he fixed my door with his expertise. I can see why he is highly recommended and would not hesitate to use him again.

In 2013 a guy hired me as an apprentice and we built a passive solar home for him, his wife, and their newborn daughter. When I arrived the only thing there was a foundation. We worked together for 4 months and I got to learn every facet of the building process.
