Erik does a great job explaining how to make a swing change and why it’s important. We’ve been working together for a little over 9 months after recommendation from a mutual friend. My first lesson I showed up as an 13 handicap unable to hit an iron ANYWHERE near the green. He helped me fix some basic posture and alignment issues. My next nine holes I shot a 38. Then I lost it again. Went back looking for a bandaid for an upcoming golf trip where if things didn’t improve I was gonna be taking only my driver and putter. We found a feel that led me to “win” a guys trip.
Came back after that and planned to break the swing down and really work on things. He did a great job at building from the ground up (literally) and in a relatively short amount of time we are working on adding speed because the swing is finally solid.
Bonus, he is partnered with a TPI certified trainer which means I’m also able to get custom exercises based on what needs to happen in my swing. Both sell packaged lessons/sessions at a discount which I highly recommend. One and done lessons are great but to really see change you have to commit to the journey. My goal is to get to single digit handicap before the end of the year and eventually scratch!
All in all, Erik is a great coach and is willing to work with you to achieve your goals!

Erik is the best instructor I have had the whole time I’ve been playing golf. His knowledge of the swing plus he listens well to making sure I got the best out of everything I did. He works with anyone on any level and really makes sure to understand what you want out of your swing and makes sure to help you achieve it.

I have been working with Erik and Herberth Golf since I was 8. Erik has been essential to the development of my game in junior golf, college golf, and now professional golf. Erik has helped shape my golf game and swing around athleticism and good fundamentals. His knowledge of the game, the swing, and the body is unmatched.
