Luckily I was onsite during the inspection. The inspector was negligent on pointing out 7 windows with clearly visible failed seals. When I pointed them out, he fought me on including them on the inspection report and stated they were “functional”. Plus there was a major leak with the roof that would have been missed if I had not called a roofer to walk the roof. In the end, he checked with his boss and included the windows in the report, however they should have identified this on their own without my involvement.

We hired Bannon Home Inspection to look over our home. We had it inspected by another firm 3 years ago when we purchased the home, and they missed a lot of serious, expensive problems. I honestly don’t know if we would have purchased the house if we knew the extent of the problems. Regardless, Bannon did a thorough, honest inspection and we’re grateful for it. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most of our clients find that scheduling their home inspection services online make getting the inspection process started easily. From there, it is all about communication. We make every effort to communicate via email, or phone at various steps through the inspection process. We love it when our clients and their agents attend the post-inspection presentation. Our inspectors will review their findings and answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to address most of the concerns you may have. Once your home inspection report is sent to you we follow up to ensure you don't have any additional questions. If you do have questions just remember, we are here for you AFTER the inspection as well.
