I pay close attention to small details. Including cutting door jambs and trim work for wood install and using power stretchers for carpet install. I also work hard to help you save money. Tips like tearing out your own carpet can save you big money. Unlike others, I don't want to leave you broke after new flooring. I enjoy being able to save homeowners money. I love to have my clients glowing with pride after they see their new floors. I take pride in the fact that all my clients are able to refer me to their friends with peace of mind that they will be completely satisfied as well. New flooring can change the entire look of your home, and the fact that you allow me in your home to install it makes me feel like I have accomplished something at the end of the day. No one takes pride in their work like I do. You may notice a negative review about our company. Please understand that we went above and beyond to make this client happy. We charged her $500 for flooring installation and refunded her over $700 because she was not happy. She then took us to court and drained us of another $2600.00 because we didn't have the time to fight with her. As if that isn't enough she has attacked us on a business and personal level all over social media and the internet and in our personal lives. All of our good reviews speak for themselves. There will always be that client who you cannot make happy and we found her. She also has spent 3 or 4 years making another flooring company in South Carolina completely miserable because she was unhappy with them as well.

Burgess did a great job installing laminate floors. They provided insight on design and which materials were best. They arrived on time, did a great job for a good price. I will be hiring them again.

Lora Lynne Tipton-Williams · January 6, 2017 Until I met Tina, I had been living in a two year long nightmare of TRYING to get the previous people who installed my laminate to do the right thing and properly reinstall new flooring. Finally I realized he was NOT going to fix the disaster they created in my home, so I began a search for a new company. Tina impressed me immediately, not only with her knowledge and professionalism, but also by her kindness and compassion for all I'd gone through for two years. I told Tina, she and Joseph had the job as soon as I could get my money back in small claims court. And then another hot water line burst in the concrete slab, so waiting was no longer an option. Meeting Tina and hiring her and her husband Joseph has been an absolute blessing in my life in more ways than one. Being in a wheelchair I was unable to stay in my home while all the work was being done. In fact I stayed with family in another state. Tina and Joe did everything possible to make the entire process seamless, even picking up the flooring for me, staying in touch and keeping me apprised of what was happening each day. And after the work was finished Tina took photos and emailed them to me. The installation is gorgeous. Workmanship flawless. I'm so thrilled.. the floor no longer 'feels' spongy in places. This time the floor doesn't make all kinds of noise when I ride across it in my wheelchair. The nails/screws in the transition pieces are not popping up. The individual planks are not sliding around leaving half inch to one inch gaps all over the place. Even the flooring itself seems to be a better quality this time. Tina suggested a different company than the one i used previously and I am well pleased with their product. Any way in which Tina and Joe have been able to help me, they have done so. I've been back home for almost a week now and I'm still very pleased with everything. The previous company failed twice to properly install my laminate flooring, the first time I knew something was wrong within a day. The second time withing 15 minutes after the installation was complete and the crew left. Today, Tina came by for a visit. Not only is the flooring in my home FINALLY restored, improved actually, but I have also gained the friendship of a very kind, compassionate, lovely young woman. Yes, finding and hiring Burgess Flooring has truly been one of God's blessings in my life. It is so wonderful each time I find there are still people who take pride in what they do for a living. People who are interested in more than simply making a living. Making a living, supporting a family, a home is important, but for the Burgess providing workmanship and service they can be proud of is also important.. as is their customer's happiness with their work. I highly recommend Joseph and Tina Burgess for all your flooring needs. When I am ready to put down new flooring in my sunroom, I will call Tina/ Burgess Flooring to do the job for me! Thank you both so much for helping to restore my home. I am so pleased to know the end is in sight, to once again be able to believe the restoration will soon be complete and to feel my peace of mind being restored

We start with determining what type of flooring fits the needs of our clients and their lifestyle. We measure and provide a shopping list for our clients. They shop at their leisure and once they secure their flooring products we schedule an installation date.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our services are, for the most part, installation of pre-purchased wood flooring. Some have already done tear out and disposal, others have not.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure when hiring for flooring that is is a specialty. Not a handyman service. There is a difference. Never pay by the hour for flooring, it could end up taking a week to install. Make sure they are insured.
