FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is clear and competitive. For handyman services not listed with a fixed price, I charge $55 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours per service. Even if I finish the job before 2 hours, the minimum charge will still apply for 2 hours. For furniture assembly, I have a set price list that covers various types of furniture, so the $55 per hour rate will not apply in this case. The cost for furniture assembly will be based on the fixed prices listed in my service menu. I offer discounts for repeat customers and for multiple services booked at once. There are no hidden fees — I believe in transparent pricing, and I will always communicate the total cost before starting any work. Feel free to reach out for a free estimate, and I'll be happy to provide a tailored quote based on your specific needs!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial Contact: I start by understanding your needs and the scope of the project (furniture assembly, handyman work, etc.), so I can provide an accurate estimate. 2. Free Estimate & Pricing: I offer a fixed price list for most services, but the price can be adjusted for multiple services or larger projects. Handyman work is billed at $55 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours. For furniture assembly, I use set rates based on the items to be assembled. 3. Confirming Details: Once we agree on the scope and price, we schedule a convenient time for the work. Feel free to ask any questions if you're unsure about the pricing. 4. Work Execution: I arrive on time, work efficiently, and keep you updated throughout the process to ensure everything meets your expectations. 5. Final Walkthrough & Payment: After completing the job, I’ll walk through with you to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction. I accept various payment methods. 6. Follow-up: I like to check in after the job to ensure everything is working as expected and answer any remaining questions. A note about pricing and communication: I understand that not every project will work for everyone. I want to make sure you’re comfortable with the pricing and scope of the work before we proceed. If you're unsure whether you want the service or if the rates don't meet your expectations, I encourage you to explore other professionals who may better suit your needs. I’m happy to answer any questions, but I kindly ask that you reach out only if you’re certain about moving forward. Since this app charges a service fee (15-30 dollars) even if the project doesn’t move forward, I want to avoid unnecessary costs on both sides. My goal is to provide great service at a fair price, and I don’t want anyone to feel pressured into booking a service they’re not completely confident in.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have hands-on experience and training in various areas of home improvement, furniture assembly, and general handyman services. While I don't have a formal degree, I have completed several workshops and courses in carpentry and general home repairs. In addition to this, I have valuable experience working with luxury Italian furniture and have been employed at a company specializing in "white glove" furniture assembly. This role required me to handle high-end, delicate pieces with extreme care and attention to detail, ensuring that each piece was assembled and installed to the highest standard. I also continually stay updated on the latest techniques and safety standards in the industry to provide the best possible service to my clients.
