Tim was professional coming in and giving a quote to excavate, grade and spread ABC gravel over ~1000sqft of area to prepare it for paver patio base.
While he was a nice guy to deal with, the grading of dirt before spreading gravel, was done incorrectly and in opposite direction to what we discussed initially. This meant that an extra load of gravel had to be dropped in to fix the grade later on.
Thankfully Tim did agree to come back and machine spread the extra load of gravel without a charge. That partially helped, but cost me ~$650 extra in material and lots of hours of hand raking the gravel to fix grade.
I would recommend Tim for general yard grading needs but seems like projects such as patio base prep where specific grade is desired isnt a great fit - or maybe my experience was just a one off.
(Another small thing to mention is that my underground sprinkler pipe was also damaged during machine excavation, despite our earlier discussion that we weren’t going to dig that deep.)
