HELLO! I am a retired USAF veteran with 23+ years experience as a technician. I just recently went out on my own after 7 years with a company servicing physical therapy equipment. PT equipment is commercial grade fitness equipment, so I have 7 years as a technician and manager under my belt. I can assemble, I can troubleshoot and repair and I know where I can find parts if they are still available. I am trained on Woodway treadmills, The entire Matrix line of equipment, Alter G treadmills, and have completed jobs on the side for the past few years on Spirit treadmills and equipment, Life Fitness and many others! I just have a knack for getting the job done!I LOVE to help folks out and charge reasonable rates! Give me a call!

We are so happy with the service we got from Dave! My husband and I had ordered a Major Fitness exercise machine and were overwhelmed by the amount of boxes it came in. While it was advertised as a two person job, it felt way too complicated to even start. Dave was super responsive to my first inquiry and came out here a few days later to set up our equipment. I figured he might need to go get someone else to help, or maybe take more than one day, but he was able to complete it quickly and effectively! I am amazed with the finished product (see picture). I would trust Dave with any fitness equipment repair or installation, and with much more!

Dave was fantastic. Arrived on time despite a long drive and got straight to work. Assembled an exercise bike and all-in-one home gym in my detached garage in under 4 hours (and in the freezing cold). After the job was complete, Dave cleaned up all the cardboard and trash and walked me through the equipment. He was kind, polite, patient and very thorough in his work. Would absolutely hire Dave again - ten out of ten!

We are very pleased with Dave’s work. He had to disassemble my G4 home gym, move it to new location and then reassemble it. He went right to work and now my gym is all in place and ready to go! We’ve already set an appointment to get all the equipment tuned up. We would definitely recommend Dave!

If I could give 10 stars I would. We had a Paramount Functional Trainer we needed to be assembled. From first contact with Dave on Thumbtack, communication was simple, easy, straightforward, and responsive. Dave arrived on time and got right to work. We had instructions on how to assemble the machine. However, Dave was able to figure out most of the assembly without the instructions. Amazing!! When it comes to fitness equipment assembly, Dave knows his stuff and has worked with numerous brands of equipment. If you have fitness equipment that needs assembling and are unsure you can assemble it yourself, don’t hesitate to contact Dave. I opened a business and needed someone knowledgeable on repairing and maintaining my gym equipment. All 16 machines were serviced and one was repaired. Even though the company that built the machines I have gone out of business , was still able to find aftermarket parts. I'm very pleased and happy to have him in my corner. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50/hour labor and $40/hour travel on Fitness Equipment repair/assembly/disassembly jobs. I add on $25 to any job if you would like me to dispose of an item. For veterans and first responders, 10% discount with proof of veteran or first responder status
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call and talk or text me and arrange a good time and date! Old School!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years in the USAF, 16 of those as a technician. 7 years as a physical therapy equipment technician, field service manager and lead. I have a BS degree in Industrial Technology/Engineering as well Fitness Equipment is what I do, a niche to be sure!
