- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
*NOTE: This is a simple process* 1.Initial Consultation Contact: Establish initial contact and introduce myself and services. Project Goals: Discuss the customer's remodeling goals and vision. Site Visit: Schedule a site visit to assess the current condition and scope. 2.Planning and Proposal Assessment: Conduct a thorough site assessment and take necessary measurements. Budget Discussion: Talk about budget constraints and priorities. Proposal Preparation: Prepare a detailed proposal including scope of work, timeline, and cost estimates. 3.Agreement Review Estimate: Go over the estimate with the customer and make adjustments as needed. Sign Contract: Finalize the agreement and sign a contract outlining all terms. 4.Design/Products Design/Plans: Create and finalize design/plans with customer input. 5.Pre-Construction/project Scheduling: Develop a project schedule. Materials: Order/purchase materials and arrange for delivery/pickup. Pre-Construction Meeting: Discuss the project plan, schedule, and logistics with the customer. 6.Construction Preparation: Prepare the area for remodeling/painting (e.g., covering furniture, setting up barriers, plastic off areas). Work Execution: Carry out the work as per the plan. Quality Control: Regularly inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards. Communication: Keep the customer updated on progress. 7.Project Completion Final Inspection: Conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure satisfaction. Punch List: Address any final touch-ups or corrections. Clean-Up: Thoroughly clean the work area. 8.Post-Completion Feedback: Request customer feedback on the completed project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the field working with pro painters and mentored by some of the best in carpentry and other trades. Being able to complete projects start to finish maintaining a high standard. I went to college for business and I really take pride in doing things right.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started when I was 16 in Upstate NY, I had family in the construction business. Started painting, then went further working and managing different projects on my own, including remodels, flooring, fences, decks, bathroom remodels, and so on, all to a high standard.
