Todd did an amazing job of trimming my trees and shrubbery. He also cleaned up the yard and and laid down some new pine straw. We can’t wait to host a party in the courtyard.

I am sooooo glad that Todd agreed to drive all the way to work at my pergola project. Not only he listened to what I want and came out a good plan, but he gave two suggestions that made it even better.

When we decided to redo our landscaping, the first problem was getting someone to call us back. Multiple calls to different landscapers went unreturned – and the few who actually called us back, provided wide-ranging quotes that were all over the place. We didn’t know what was reasonable or who to trust.
We reached out to over a dozen landscapers in an 8-month period before a good friend referred us to Todd Mathis and ITS Landscape Design. From the first day we spoke with Todd and Stephanie, we had a different feeling. They were responsive. Proactive. Attentive.
We started with the front yard. We had a plan from a landscape architect that we shared with Todd. He used it as a starting point but added his own design elements. He chose a wide variety of plants that were unique – and didn’t look like every other yard on the block. And his use of river rock and stone was especially inspired.
We were so pleased that when we decided to do the back yard 6 months later, we gave Todd carte blanche with the design. Once again – every detail was perfect from the stone wall to the edible herbs in the butterfly garden to relocating the patio from the garage to the house. And we especially appreciated that he was thoughtful in reusing/recycling existing plants and materials.
In the course of 9 months ITS Landscape Design transformed our front and back yards from worst on the block to one of the nicest. Sincerely – we get so many compliments from people out walking on how lovely our yard looks and we agree. We could not be happier.
And of course, it’s not just the landscaping. Stephanie manages the business with excellent communication, clear expectations and care.

Todd transformed our unattractive backyard into an inviting and functional outdoor living space! Right from our first meeting, we were impressed by Todd’s in-depth knowledge and professional demeanor. Todd clearly understood the challenges involved in our complex job site. Todd was passionate about creating and implementing a beautiful design using quality materials. His initial comprehensive sketch of our paver patio, retaining wall, sitting walls, capped steps and bespoke fence demonstrated that Todd takes great pride in his work. Todd was respectful, conscientious and cleaned the job site daily. We appreciated the daily progress updates and Todd’s attention to detail.
